Easy to transportation, including I-94 and General Mitchell Int’l Airport, has helped another business commit to Oak Creek: FedEx.

The Common Council voted in favor of building a FedEx truck terminal at the Oakwood Crossing business park. The 110,000-square-foot terminal will be developed on approximately 50 acres in the business park, west of S. Howell Ave. and north of W. Oakwood Road. When the terminal is fully completed, FedEx will hire more than 300 local employees. Full-time workers can expect to earn $20-28 per hour.

Opus Development Co. plans to build the terminal for FedEx, and will announce anticipated construction milestones to the public soon.
